Bangladesh’s battle against climate change

Island of Kutubdia faces immediate threat
THE effects of climate change are threatening to drown Bangladesh’s fishing villages on the island of Kutubdia. International Reporting Project (IRP) Fellow Joanna Kakissis spent five weeks in Bangladesh as part of a grant from the International Reporting Project. She reports from this remote region, and assesses the threat of rising sea levels on its residents.
