SOME of them have been away from “free” society for the last 23 years but the advice belted out by the 15 inmates of the Carrera Island Prison calypso competition on Thursday, including one who sang “Hang Them High”, was certainly relevant now as it was back then.
The calypso competition celebrating its 21st of existence has become a highly anticipated affair. Prison Commissioner John Rougier said “its not an image building thing but its real.”
Nicholas Gosine, who went by the soubriquet “Bangladesh”, was a dead ringer for the calypsonian, Baron.
